Circuit training:
Circuit training is a mixture of high intensity aerobics and resistance training that can help with fat loss, cardio fitness and improved muscle tone. Below are some of the benefits of circuit training.
: Provide a whole body workout.
: Can be done with limited equipment.
: Add some variety to your training.
: Can be done in a short space of time.
The aim of circuit training is to move from one exercise to another with little rest, at the end of the circuit rest for 1-2 minutes and then repeat for the desired number of times. Often a circuit is made up of around 10 stations but can be varied according to the design of the circuit and the individual’s needs fitness levels etc. Below are 2 examples of circuit training, one uses just your body weight and one uses machines and equipment found in most health clubs and gyms. *****
