644716_weights_4This time we look at another compound barbell exercise, the deadlift. The deadlift targets the muscles of the posterior chain (hamstrings, glutes, lower back) and like the squat is another must do exercise to include within your training if your goals are increased muscle size or strength gains.

Many people avoid the deadlift due to a number of reasons and some of these I have listed below.
